Frank Narcomey, an Oklahoma native, has over 40 years of experience in the construction industry. Frank’s heritage is Seminole/Creek and he is a member of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma. In December 1980, Frank graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology, Construction Management. After college, Frank worked for J.W. Bateson in Dallas, TX and for Timberlake Construction in Oklahoma City, OK before founding Southwind Construction Company, Inc. as sole owner in October 1991. With the help of the SBA’s Section 8(a) program, Southwind was able to not only grow its revenues but, more significantly, to gain valuable experience and a reputation from its customers as the “go to” contractor.
Shortly after graduating from the 8(a) program in 2006, it was time for Southwind’s organizational structure to change. Realizing Southwind’s long term strategy for continued success and revenue growth would depend on consistently meeting high expectations for performance, quality, timeliness, and customer service, Frank formulated Southwind Construction Services, LLC in May 2007. The addition of former key employees Bill Kemp and Renada Anderson as co-owners would provide the leadership necessary to carry the company forward. Today, Southwind sustains annual revenues of $25 million and maintains a staff of over 30 full-time employees. Southwind prides itself on maintaining a unique ability to handle complicated, high profile design-build projects.
Renada Anderson joined the Southwind organization in 1995, and currently serves as the firm’s Vice President/Finance. Renada has over 35 years’ experience in construction accounting. Before joining Southwind, Renada was an accountant at a local CPA office.
Renada holds a Bachelor of Science in Business/Accounting from Southern Nazarene University. She currently serves as Treasurer for the Society of American Military Engineers and headed the organization committee for its 2013 regional conference.
Bill Kemp joined the Southwind organization in 2000, and currently serves as the firm’s Vice President/Operations. Bill has over 40 years’ experience in design and construction in support of facilities and infrastructure projects nationwide. Beginning as a laborer for his uncle’s masonry business during his teens, Bill Kemp has worked as tradesman, Superintendent, Project Manager, Estimator, Program Manager, Director of Marketing, and Operations Manager throughout his career. Since 1993, Bill Kemp has directed company operations for several design-build and construction firms in support of projects for federal, state, institutional and industrial clientele.
In addition to several professional certifications, Bill holds a Bachelor of Design in Architecture and Masters of Science in Building Construction degrees from the University of Florida, a Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from the University of Central Oklahoma, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Oklahoma.
